Need a dose of creativity?
Check out the Open Exhibit this April at Art Downtown.
Artists from the Hanover Area Arts Guild and the community have combined talents for the show and are showing more than 130 pieces of artwork. The 3rd Open Exhibit, April 6-27, features work in five categories: oil and acrylics, watercolors, photography and digital arts, three-dimensional art and other media, such as pastels, fiber arts and collage.
Rob Evans, an artist from Wrightsville, will judge the show.
Awards, including Best of Show, will be presented during a reception, set for 2-4 p.m. Sunday, April 8. The reception is open to artists, families and the community. It will be held at Art Downtown, 32 Carlisle St., Hanover.
The Open Exhibit can be seen during regular gallery hours at Art Downtown — 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday.
