In preparation for the show\, Arts Guild members called patrons for art loans.\n\n\nThe result is an exhibit featuring 156 paintings\, prints\, photographs and pieces of other artwork representing 50 years of art.\n\nThe Arts Guild was formed in 1968 by a handful of artisans who began meeting at the YWCA.\n\nA reception is planned 1-3 p.m. Saturday\, Feb. 10\, to celebrate the exhibit. The reception at Art Downtown\, 32 Carlisle St.\, Hanover\, is part of Hanover Main Street's Second Saturday celebration. It is open to the public.\n\n\n\nThe exhibit continues through March 3.
